As we approach the end of Term 1, we are pleased to announce our End-of-Term 1 Football Tournament, which is included as part of your child’s football enrolment. This event provides an excellent opportunity for players to showcase the skills they’ve developed throughout the term in a competitive yet enjoyable environment.
Children from all our Abu Dhabi Elite venues will come together for a tournament-style event, offering players the chance to display their abilities and round off the term in the best possible way.
Tournament Details
The tournament will be held at GEMS American Academy and is open to all players. Here’s everything you need to know:
- Date: Saturday, 7th December 2024
- Location: GEMS American Academy (Abu Dhabi)
- Tournament Schedule:
- Ages 4–9: 16:45 – 18:00 (Arrival by 16:30)
- Ages 10–14: 18:00 – 19:15 (Arrival by 17:45)
***Each tournament will last 60 minutes, with presentations to follow each tournament***
Why This Tournament Matters
The End-of-Term 1 Football Tournament is more than just a competition. It’s a chance for players to showcase their progress, celebrate the skills they’ve acquired over the term, and experience the thrill of playing in a tournament setting. It’s also an opportunity to demonstrate sportsmanship, work as a team, and gain valuable experience in a competitive environment. Most importantly, it’s about having fun and rounding off the term with a memorable experience.
Registration Information
To take part in the tournament, registration is required and must be completed by Wednesday, 4th December 2024. The registration link will be sent to parents via email. Please ensure you register by the deadline to secure your child’s place in the tournament.
