Starting as one of the first of its kind in the region, the Elite DEVELOPMENT league in the UAE offers the opportunity for children who are developing their football skills and still learning the game to play competitive football against other football academies. Through our Development League Football academies for kids in Dubai now have the opportunity to play in competitive leagues where the primary purpose is player development, improving game understanding and reducing the importance of winning by creating an opportunity to make mistakes and correct them with direct feedback from both the head coach and the referee. The league operates across 8 different age categories, with over 50 participating teams, from 12 different private and professional football academies. We are proud to say that the Elite Development League on Friday mornings have positively affected and helped improve hundreds of players across the region over the last 3 years whilst introducing many to the rules and format of competitive football. Still to this day it remains a very successful and positive developmental pathway on Friday morning at the fantastic facilities of JESS Arabian Ranches. Since September 2020 the Elite Development league accommodates some of the very best youth football academies for kids in Dubai age U13-U16s.
After the great success of the Elite Development league, began the Elite Advanced League for a more competitive and challenging environment for youth football academies and players in the UAE. More than 14 different kids football academies in Dubai have participated over the past 5 seasons and this year we have more than 10 different football academies for kids that are participating in the Elite Advanced League from ages U13-U18. With the competition now higher than ever, Thursday night is a fantastic opportunity for the strongest teams and players to battle for the top prize. The Elite Advanced League is the place to be when it comes to exciting games and great football skills with players from some of the best football academies for kids in Dubai on show competing to finish in 1st place.
With the current COVID-19 restrictions every changing, we are delighted to announce the resumption of U8-U12 age league category for all football academies for kids in Dubai. The leagues for our younger age groups will start within the next few weeks and we offer the invitation to all participating privates and professional football academies interested in the best kids advanced and development football leagues in Dubai to join us for another season of amazing youth football in the UAE.
