END OF TERM SWIMMING GALA

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our End of Term Swimming Gala on the 16th of March, 2024. The gala is our showpiece event to complete the Swimming Term and is INCLUDED AS PART OF THE SWIMMING SEASON REGISTRATION.

The Gala will see children from all Elite venues participate in a selection of races, giving the children the opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned in their coaching sessions in a competitive and fun environment.

We always want our galas to be fun, but also a learning experience for our swimmers coming through our program, working themselves up to our squads, and as to the pathway towards competitive swimming galas. We encourage all our swimmers to participate in this gala.

  • Victory Heights Primary School (Sports City)

Gala times:

  • 8.00 am – 12.00 pm
    • Level 1 & Level 2: 8.15 am – 9:15 am (Arrive at 8 am, doors close at 8.15 am)
    • Level 3 & Level 4: 9.30 am – 10.30 am (Arrive at 9.15 am, doors close at 9.30 am)
    • Level 5 & Squads: 10:45 am – 11:45 am (Arrive at 10.30 am, doors close at 10.45 am)

IMPORTANT

  • REGISTRATION IN ADVANCE IS STRICTLY REQUIRED 
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the Gala start time.
  • Participants should bring their own water, swimming costume, towel,  Elite swimming hat, and change of clothes.

 For each level, we will have different distances and different races. Please keep in mind that we are aware that some children can swim further than the distance required, but we want them to enjoy the gala and enter more of our future galas.

There will be events for all ages and levels. For the younger ones we will have floating races, and treasure hunts (Sinkers), and for our older and higher levels we will have 25m Fly, 50 Front crawl, etc.
