A new year and a new youth football tournament to get excited about. Elite Sports Academy are delighted to be the Official Technical Partners of the upcoming GYS Spring Cup. Taking place in February in Dubai Sports City, the competition looks set to be a fantastic opportunity for all selected children to compete with other Professional and Private football academies in Dubai and the UAE. Set within the World Class facilities of The Football Centre in Dubai Sports City, Elite Sports Academy are thrilled to be partnered to such a prestigious event and look forward to a brilliant weekend of football in February 2021.
With youth football in Dubai being as competitive as it is, we are delighted to also be competing in the Youth Football League in Season 2. Our Under 12 and Under 16 Select squads will compete with other Youth football academies and we wish all our players the very best of luck this season. Additionally, our Girls Select squad will begin their girls league this weekend at Formarke School. This will be the first competitive league game for our girls select squad who have been training and playing friendlies since September last year. Best of Luck Girls.
The Elite Advanced League and Elite Development League resumed last weekend, with over 80 teams competing and more than 1000 children and coaches in attendance over the weekend. Taking place at the excellent venue of JESS Arabian Ranches, we saw amazing football, competitive as always and played in a fantastic spirit. We thank all our players, coaching team and members for creating a wonderful experience for all participants.
With the new year now well underway, football sessions in Dubai have resumed across our multitude of locations. It continues to bring us an incredible feeling to see our children continue to deal with all that the current pandemic throws at them, and to continue to play the sport we all love so much. With health and safety measure still in place throughout our sessions, we thank our children and families for their continued support and understanding at what has been the most challenging 12 months in all our lives.
