As the term draws to a close, we are pleased to announce our End-of-Term 1 Swimming Gala. This event is a highlight of the swimming term and is included as part of your child’s swimming enrolment.

The Gala will bring together swimmers from all Elite venues, offering them the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have developed in their coaching sessions. The event is designed to be both fun and educational, providing a platform for swimmers to experience a competitive environment as they progress towards higher-level galas and squad participation.

 

Event Details

• • Date: Sunday, 8th December 2024
  • Location: Victory Heights Primary School
  • Schedule:
    • Level 1 & Level 2: 8.15am – 9:15am (Arrive at 8am, doors close at 8.15am)
    • Level 3 & Level 4: 9.30am – 10.30am (Arrive at 9.15am, doors close at 9.30am)
    • Level 5 & Squads: 10:45am – 11:45am (Arrive at 10.30am, doors close at 10.45am)
    • Each session will start promptly, and we kindly ask all participants to arrive on time.

 

What to Expect

The Gala will feature a range of races tailored to different age groups and skill levels. For younger swimmers, there will be fun events like floating races and treasure hunts (sinkers). Older swimmers will compete in standard races such as 25m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle.

This event is not only a celebration of the progress made during the term but also a stepping stone for swimmers aiming to participate in future competitive galas.

Registration is mandatory and must be completed by Thursday, 5th December 2024
