December saw Elite Football Academy, in partnership with West Ham United Foundation host a 3-day football camp at Brighton College football for our Elite squad footballers. With over 150 footballers in attendance, the West Ham coaches were delighted with the attitude, application and ability on display. The West Ham coaches covered numerous topics throughout the 3 days, featuring ball mastery, technical practice, and tactical analysis.

 

In addition to the camp, the West Ham coaching team, hosted a CPD for our Elite Football coaches, touching on delivery, session planning, individual player development, nutrition among many more. The CPD had both practical and theory elements to it and was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.

 

Upon the completion of the camps for all age groups, 3 players from each group were selected to receive individual awards and certificates for their participation in the camp, with 1 winner from each day selected as the star of the camp, receiving the 2022/23 West Ham United home shirt in recognition of their efforts on the camp. Congratulations to all prize winners, and special mention to both Joshua & Troy who received the West Ham Shirts.

 

The camp is the latest event in partnership with West Ham United Foundation, which precedes our London 2022 trip in August where over 70 of our Elite footballers travelled to London for 7 days in the capital of London. We are already looking forward to our next trip.
